Phi Phi + Maya+ Bamboo + Maiton Island by Speed Catamaran.
Phi Phi Islands Bamboo Island Maiton Island tour is the most requested destination in the Andaman Sea.Visiting the bays and the all most famous beaches in Phi Phi Islands such as Bamboo Island, Mosquitos Island, Nui Bay, Phi Phi Don Island, Phi Phi Leh and Maiton Island.
Phi Phi Island is Thailand’s island-superstar. It’s been in the movies. It’s the topic of conversation for travelers all over Thailand. For some, it’s the only reason to a touchdown in Phuket. Even with all the hype, it doesn’t disappoint. Phi Phi’s beauty is a large chunk of the allure. The islands, when approached by boat, rise from the sea like a fortress. Sheer cliffs tower overhead, then give way to beach-fronted jungle. It’s love at first sight. The second part of the why-we-love-this-place story is attitude: few places on the planet are this laid-back. Of the two islands located near Phuket and Krabi, one is completely free of human inhabitants (Phi Phi Leh), and the other is without roads (Phi Phi Don). There’s no schedule, no hustle-and-bustle, no reason to be in a hurry.
Maya Bay is a stunningly beautiful bay that’s sheltered by 100-meter high cliffs on three sides. Inside the bay there are several beaches, most are small and some only exist at low tide. The main one is around 200 meters long with silky soft white sand, underwater colorful coral and exotic fish in exceptionally clear water; the whole bay is one big reef. Maya Bay has become the main tourist attraction of Phi Phi since The Beach was filmed here in 1999. It was always very popular before the film but now people around the world who haven’t even heard of Phi Phi have certainly heard of Maya Bay. The best time to visit Maya Bay is between November and April during the high season when seas are calm and access to the bay is easy. Rough seas from May to October may hinder access but rarely deny entry.
Bamboo Island, known as Koh Pai in Thai, is the most north-easterly island of Phi Phi Archipelago in the southern Thai province of Krabi. Lying approximately five kilometers off the northern tip of Koh Phi Phi Don, Bamboo Island is a stunning tropical hotspot that offers the perfect getaway from the crowds as, despite the fact a few tours from Phuket make a stop here after lunch, the island is most of the time never too crowded. Measuring roughly 600m wide by 700m long, the island is almost shaped like a heart and is entirely surrounded by a strip of white sand. Its central part is covered with lush vegetation including Casuarinas trees and the Bamboo trees that gave its name to the island. On the north-eastern side of the island, under the shade of the trees, a small bar serves drinks and snacks. The perfect spot for a day trip, Bamboo Island hosts great snorkeling opportunities. Between Phi Phi Don and Bamboo islands stand a notable coral reef known as Hin Klang which provides its masked and finned visitors with the feeling of swimming in an aquarium. Closer to the beach, the island is almost entirely surrounded by a reef that spreads up to 500m from the shore.
Maiton Island (sometimes written as Maithon or Mai Ton) is a beautiful tropical island just off Phuket’s east coast. Just 2.5 km across at its widest point, it is ringed by beautiful golden sands and nodding palm trees swaying in the breeze, as well as crystal-clear waters and vibrant coral reefs. Sadly, since the island is privately owned, access to it is extremely limited. This does, however, mean that those who can get there will enjoy breathtaking natural beauty, entirely unspoiled by mass tourism. Maiton Island is a very popular stop for cruises, especially those leaving from Chalong Pier. While most boats only stop nearby, allowing you to swim and snorkel in the sea and enjoy the view, select sailings allow you to enjoy your buffet lunch on the pristine beach. Alternatively, you can go diving just off-shore, where you can encounter turtles, cuttlefish and an array of other colorful tropical sea life.
